In 2006 Mike was nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the Inspirational Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN. This following a spectacular year which saw two #1 singles, two songwriting awards, major market radio airplay, and performances at the Grand Ole Opry and the Whitehouse in Washington DC.

In 2007 Mike finished the recording of his critically acclaimed debut album entitled, “Turn It Over”. Produced by Clyde Brooks, the CD is available on-line through www.cdbaby.com, and the songs are available for downloading through itunes and most other digital download websites. In addition to the new CD, Mike was a top 10 finalist in the “Male vocalist of the Year” category at the Inspirational Country Music Awards.

Mike Rimmey’s ministry focus is two-fold:
First, is evangelism. Mike believes seeking the lost should be first on the heart of every believer. Second, is Creation. With a science background, Mike refutes the theory of evolution and provides scientific evidence to support his views.
